How to divide household chores fairly between partners?

Healthy task sharing works best when partners share full ownership of a chore—from noticing it to getting it done—rather than waiting to be asked. When one partner owns a card, they take responsibility for Anticipation, Planning, and Execution to an agreed Definition of Done.

How do 100 Household Chore Cards work in Butler?

The 100 Household Chore Cards cover everyday family responsibilities across 5 categories. Partners can claim and share cards to ensure balanced ownership, while Butler gently helps by generating timely reminders, meal suggestions, and actionable to-dos.

What is a Definition of Done for household tasks?

A Definition of Done is a shared expectation for how a chore is completed (e.g. "dishes washed, sink wiped down, counters clear by 9 PM"). It helps partners stay aligned with mutual clarity and zero guesswork.
